Drink Water for Weight Loss

How much water should you drink?
Most diets will say that you should drink at least 8 eight-once glasses of water per day. Although that may sound like a lot, it’s really easy to drink all of that water. Here are three tips to ensure ample water intake:
- Get a Water Bottle
Water bottles are re-useable, easy to clean, and big! When you have a water bottle, you’ll be more apt to use it and keep yourself hydrated throughout the day. A huge bottle is not necessarily the best kind to get – I personally use a 16-once bottle and sometimes even a 24-oncer!
- Keep the Bottle by Your Desk
When you keep your bottle by your desk, you’ll see it often and your brain will often queue you to drink the water and keep it filled. Another benefit of having a bottle by your desk is that you’ll have to go to the bathroom more often which will make you get up, stretch, and walk more throughout the day.
- Refill Whenever you Get Up
Now that you have a bottle and keep it by your desk, make sure to keep it full! Whenever you get up to pick up a print job, go fill your bottle. Whenever you go to the copy room, fill your bottle. Whenever you go chit chat with the cubicle next door, go fill your bottle!
